Not that there is anything wrong with tradition... but long gone are the days where guest will find the simple folded escort cards with their name and table number.
Brides are getting way more creative with the style of the escort card and even taking it a step further to give the table "number" meaning; by naming it after ther favorite countries, movies or songs. There are many creative ways to "escort" your guests to their table. Here are some of our favorites!!
Love was in the air and at the tables at this Simply Events LA Destination Wedding. Each table had the word LOVE in a different language - and guest found thier the table after stopping bu the "Love is Sweet" table and picking up thier very unique and Lollipop Escort Cards
Love is Sweet Table
Escort Cards - Designed by Simply Events LA
Love Table Numbers - Each table had a different B&W Engagement Photo of the Bride and Groom with Love in a different Language - they were double mounted on Pink and Orange Cover Paper
There are sooo many other creative ways to design and display your escort cards.. stay tuned for another post

Event Rewind: 7+7+7=Lucky in Love
Brides all over the world have been waiting for this very lucky day to say I Do – and I had the pleasure of coordinating this very special wedding for one Lucky Bride.
When she circled July 7, 2007 on her calendar as her wedding day, Joella felt certain this most coveted of dates would bring her good fortune. And as anyone who has ever planned a wedding knows, a bride can use all the help she can get to ensure her big day goes off without a hitch.
With the lucky number seven on her side, Joella began planning her wedding with a classic style in mind, the color pink dominating the decor. The industrious bride-to-be secured her location and ordered her invitations as she proceeded to check off items from her to-do list with ease. Everything seemed to fall into place.
It appeared fate was on her side...at least, until four months before the wedding. That's when a phone call delivered the unthinkable news that the hotel where the nuptials were to be held had been sold. And the new owners were shutting it down for renovations, effectively stripping away the any hope of drama-free nuptials.
Luckily for Joella, Simple Events LA stepped in and helped turn her stroke of misfortune into an opportunity. After quickly setting up a tour of venues that surprisingly had openings on the popular date, the bride decided on the newly remodeled Sofitel Hotel on Beverly Blvd.
The chic location set a new tone for the event and the pale pink color palette that had been selected for the previous venue was replaced with a vibrant fuchsia. Black and white accents further amplified the modern feel of the Sofitel.
In response to the bride's fascination with the ballroom carpet, our resident invitation designer was able to recreate the look and feel in a new set of custom-designed invitations. After all was said and done, Joella realized that losing that first venue and teaming up with Simply Events LA had quite possibly been the biggest stroke of good luck she'd experienced throughout her entire wedding planning process. Except for meeting her husband, of course.
